The Tennis Channel Open Media Center is located within the tournament site at the Amanda & Stacy Darling Memorial Tennis Center on Court #22. After opening at noon on Saturday, March 1, the Media Center will open approximately one hour before play begins each day from Sunday, March 2, through Sunday, March 9 and close when the last evening match concludes.

The Tennis Channel's Eric Abner (310-314-9445; eabner@thetennischannel.com) and Brad Falkner (310-314-9448; bfalkner@thetennischannel.com) will manage the tournament Media Center. The Media Center phone number is 702-440-6650. The fax number is 702-440-6651.

Tennis Channel Open media credentials are for working members of the press who intend to provide timely coverage of the tournament, and are not transferable. Journalists are required to submit a letter of assignment on the letterhead of the media outlets they will represent at the Tennis Channel Open, along with samples of tennis-related work. The Tennis Channel Open reserves the right to award or deny media credentials as appropriate.

Each credentialed media member will receive a confirmation letter which will act as a first-day parking pass, good only for the initial day of work. This can be turned in at the tournament credential office in exchange for media credentials and a parking pass for the tournament week.

Media credentials allow access to and from the Media Center. Each member of the media must have a ticket to sit in the stadium or a photo sticker to shoot courtside or from a photo platform. Tickets and photo stickers will be distributed by the Media Center staff.

Movement into and out of position is allowed only when the players are changing sides. Photographers will be instructed to avoid excessive movement during play and refrain from flash photography or motor-driven shots during the serve (or at any time a player or referee objects). If there is not enough room courtside for all credentialed photographers, the Media Center staff will assign positions based on the organization's size, location, and frequency of news reports.

Media Center staff will maintain the Media Center as a professional working environment where reporters, photographers and camera crews can do their jobs without distraction. No visitors (including family members) are permitted without the prior approval of the Media Center staff. Autographs and personal photographs are not allowed.

A limited number of DSL lines will be available in the Media Center, available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Media Center will also have wireless Internet capabilities.
